Joyful Noise: Rhythm Workshop for Adults
Have you got rhythm? Come and learn how to both read and play basic rhythms in this introductory course. Students will be taught to read and clap basic rhythms (quarter, half, whole eighth, and sixteenth notes and their equivalent rests). Students will then transfer those skills to instruments (boomwhackers, rhythm sticks, and drums). Sessions will be Sunday, July 20, and Sunday, July 27 at SAJ. Attendance at both sessions is recommended. The workshop is open to 25 participants.
