Today our group split into two areas of Langa, one team to continue running the Holiday Club at Langa Baptist Church, and the other team to begin a shorter Holiday Club at Common Ground Langa. The numbers are getting larger each day at Langa Baptist, and we had a surprising amount show up for Common Ground’s club. Altogether our 2 teams reached over 250 children yesterday. God really is moving here with us.

Our Common Ground Team started with a simple message about the Gospel, and reinforced that message with the story of Saul’s conversion in Acts. The kids learned about how God chose them to be his holy people, and heard about the sacrifice Jesus made for them. Meanwhile, at Langa Baptist, the team continued the story of Esther and taught the kids about how they have a powerful and faithful God they can turn to in difficult times.

Please continue to pray for our teams, that they might finish the week strong. Tomorrow we finish the Common Ground Camp, and the following day we’ll finish at Langa Baptist. Pray that our energy doesn’t wane, and that we are filled with the Spirit to know how to best reach these kids.
