Serve at Calvary
We are wanting to grow an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist with Sunday morning Worship happening weekly. Current needs are: Sunday Volunteers, Outreach Volunteers, Tech & Musicians.
Super Saturday: Amsterdam Houses
Calvary Baptist Church partners with the Amsterdam Houses and Additions to serve children and families in the community. Several times each year, we host special activities filled with fun, fellowship, and opportunities to share the Gospel. Join us on April 4th for our next event! Other dates and times will be announced in the Sunday bulletin and the This Week at Calvary newsletter. This outreach is organized by Pastors Tim Black and Jim Lokey.

9 Million Reasons - LIC Food Pantry
The Council of Missions will be serving with 9 Million Reasons at Evangel Church in Long Island City to help run the food pantry and provide for local migrant needs through the distribution of clothing, supplies, and other essentials. Evangel Church is located at 39-21 Crescent Street, Long Island City, NY 11101 (please enter through the parking lot). Volunteers meet on the first Saturday of each month from 8:45 a.m. to noon to organize donated food products, pack distribution bags, and assist with various needs. Young Lives
Young lives is a ministry that reaches out to NYC teen mothers. Calvary volunteers come alongside the Young Lives staff to help host meetings and offer young mothers encouragement. Led by Pastor Jim Lokey and Arielle Duggan.

Hillside is looking to restart a tutoring program (for at least a small group of children). One-Time Opportunities
If your Life Group has a particular interest, Hillside is very open to assist. The life group would be in charge of the majority of planning and execution.
