A message from Galatians 1:6–10 focused on the danger of abandoning the true gospel. Paul’s astonishment that the Galatians were turning from salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone to false teachings that added human effort and religious works to the gospel. Jesus’ death and resurrection are fully sufficient for salvation, believers are to remain discerning against distorted gospels, and Christians should live for God’s approval rather than people’s approval.
