Continuing the series in Galatians, Pastor Joseph explored how the Apostle Paul defended the integrity of the gospel against those who insisted that faith in Christ must be supplemented by circumcision and obedience to the Mosaic Law. Paul demonstrated that both his apostolic calling and the gospel he preached came directly from God, and that the leaders of the Jerusalem church fully affirmed the message that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The sermon emphasized that every believer has been entrusted with the gospel and is called to preserve it by proclaiming it faithfully and protecting it from distortion. Pastor Joseph also highlighted how the gospel transforms lives through God’s grace and naturally produces generosity, compassion, and care for the poor. As followers of Christ, we are called not only to proclaim the good news but also to demonstrate it through lives marked by grace, service, and love for others.
