Evangelism In Today’s Culture

February 4 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

It can be challenging to share the gospel in today’s world. This evangelism training series will teach us to pray for non-believers, ask good questions, and share the gospel with love and clarity.

Class will be offered on Sundays in February, offered during both 9:30 and 11 AM services. SAJ, 3rd Floor – Room 302. The class will be taught by Francis Floth, Cru, NYC. Register HERE.

Session 1: Sent with a Purpose (Sunday, Feb 4)

In this session, we will explore where we are sent to be God’s witnesses. We will think and pray through the people God has placed in our lives, and learn to ask good questions that can lead to spiritual conversations.

Session 2: Gospel Clarity (Sunday, Feb 11)

This session is designed to help us share the gospel clearly with today’s culture. We will look at how analogies and stories can help people understand it, while still staying true to the gospel message.

Session 3: Gospel Contextualization and Testimony (Sunday, Feb 18)

This session will equip us to contextualize the gospel to help people understand it at a heart level. We will learn how to share our personal testimonies that can connect the truths of the gospel with the needs and longings of those around us.

Session 4: Discussion, Prayer, and Q & A (Sunday, Feb 25)

We will spend time hearing stories of how our spiritual conversations are going, praying together, and talking through any questions we may have.
