City Relief
City Relief is a mobile outreach to the homeless. They connect people to resources that lead to life transformation. Their team of staff and volunteers believe that everyone deserves a place to call home because homelessness is a struggle, not a life sentence. City Relief outreaches feature a custom bus with a built-in kitchen, office, and resource center.
LIC Food Pantry
The Council of Missions will be going to Evangel Church in Long Island City to help run the food pantry and provide for local migrant needs (distributing clothing, supplies, etc.). Evangel Church is located at 39-21 Crescent Street, LIC, NY 11101 (please enter through the parking lot).
Serve at Hunter
We are wanting to grow an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist with Sunday morning Worship happening weekly at Hunter College. Current needs are: Sunday Morning Camera Operator, Sound Engineer & Slide Projectionist.
