Community:
Build lifelong friendships and learn what it means to stir up one another to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24).
Cross-Cultural Missions:
Experience ministry in a broad range of contexts and cultures in New York City, the city with the largest and most diverse population of any city in the United States.

Spiritual Growth:

Department-Specific Ministry:
You will have the opportunity to serve directly within various ministries within Calvary Baptist Church and other local organizations, doing front-line ministry and evangelism.

This program is an introduction to hands-on ministry and mission work in a condensed format. Develop foundational leadership skills, applicable in any vocational context, through hands-on ministry experience and structured discipleship.
- Ministry Rotations: 3-Month Interns serve in a church department (e.g., Youth Ministry, Outreach, Worship) to gain broad exposure.
- Discipleship: Regular meetings with a mentor for spiritual development, prayer, and study.
- Mission Projects: Participation in local outreach programs to understand and serve the city’s diverse population.
- Leadership Workshops: Monthly workshops on topics such as conflict resolution, public speaking, and spiritual leadership.

This program provides deeper immersion into ministry roles and leadership training. Gain deeper engagement with ministry tasks, leadership responsibilities, and community engagement.
- Ministry Placement: Be assigned to a specific ministry within the church for the duration to develop specialized skills.
- In-depth Training: Training sessions in missions, leadership, and evangelism ministry.
- Leadership Project: Help design and co-lead a major church initiative, like a mission trip or a new community service program.
- Discipleship Group: Participate in and eventually help lead a small group to foster spiritual growth and discipleship.
- Regular Evaluation: Feedback sessions with mentors to assess progress and identify areas for growth.
